Rapidly expanding George Steuart Finance today opened its 6th branch, this time in the historic city of Kurunegala, through which the company would strongly promote Micro Financing solutions.
Located at No 155, Puttalam Road, Kurunegala, the branch offers all conveniences to customers. The branch was declared open by the Chief Guest Admiral Somathilaka Dissanayaka, Ex Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy and Presidential Advisor on Maritime Affairs and the Guest of Honour Major General Daya Ratnayaka, Chief of Staff, Sri Lanka Army, in the presence of the Chairman and Board of Directors along with other management, staff, customers and well wishers.
Speaking at the opening, Lakshman Uduwara, Director/CEO, George Steuart Finance said, “We are happy to set our footprint in the historic town at Athugalpura which is a strategic regional hub for business activities with its core economic activities revolving around the coconut industry, paddy cultivation, poultry and trading in imported automotives and spares.
