Gifts galore with Union Bank’s ‘Kalin Avurudu’ promotion

Union Bank’s ‘Kalin Avurudu’ promotion became one of the most attractive promotions introduced in the banking industry which drew large amounts of new customers and deposits when it was first launched by Union Bank in 2013.
This year too Union Bank is the first to launch an early Avurudu promotion enabling customers to start saving in advance and take away a range of attractive gifts during the Sinhala and Hindu New Year season.
Spokesperson for the bank’s Marketing division stated that the promotion provides customers the opportunity save with ease and build their savings balances over a period of time and collect a range of very useful gifts, and in addition will also receive an attractive rate of interest for savings and fixed deposits.
Making Avurudu even more exciting the promotion offers the gifts early and can be collected before the New Year from 1 April onwards. The promotion is applicable for savings and fixed deposits. The gifts offered are from a very reputed organisation and includes one year warranty.
Gifts for savings accounts include: a pouches, lunch bags, travelling bags, rice cookers and microwaves or mobile phones. For Fixed deposits the promotion offers gifts such as DVD players, microwaves, home theatres, mobiles phones, washing machines and LED televisions. A range of gifts which include tricycles, video games and mountain bikes are also on offer for the minor savings accounts.
The promotion commenced from 20 February and is valid up to 30 April 2014 and is available across the bank’s branch network of 51 branches and will also be available at its newest branch to be opened on 25 February in Ibbagamuwa.
