Premaratne has 45 years of banking experience and has held top positions in Sri Lanka’s banking industry having served as Senior Deputy General Manager at Commercial Bank PLC, Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Sampath Bank PLC and Cargills Bank Ltd. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London. Premaratne is also a Past President of Sri Lanka Banks’ Association. Following the latest appointment, the Board of Directors of Softlogic Finance PLC comprises A.K. Pathirage (Chairman), H. Premaratne (Deputy Chairman/Director), N.H.G. Wijekoon (Director/CEO), T.M.I.
