The Vavuniya branch of HDFC Bank has moved on to new premises at No. 113, Kandy Road, Vavuniya, a prime location in the heart of Vavuniya town.
Chairperson of the Bank Siromi Wickramasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The new location with a spacious environment will provide the people of the area a more convenient banking experience.
HDFC Bank established the Vavuniya branch in 2010 with the objective of expanding the branch network and to facilitate the people of Vavuniya in all their housing needs. Today, the branch offers a comprehensive range of banking services including housing finance, savings accounts, fixed deposits, education loans, gold loans, micro finance loans and it will also enable the people in the area to utilise the modern banking services through the palm top mobile banking service.
HDFC Bank CEO/GM Nimal Mamaduwa, the corporate and executive management of the bank, the Regional Manager, Manager and the staff of Vavuniya branch and a large number of customers were present at the relocation ceremony.
