HDFC Bank relocates Kegalle Branch

HDFC Bank relocated its branch in Kegalle into a more spacious and convenient location at No. 371, Main Street, Kegalle recently.

Chief Guest, CEO/GM HDFC Bank Suresh Amerasekera ceremonially opened the branch .This occasion was graced by Deputy Minister of Health Lalith Dissanayake, Divisional Secretary Kegalle L.A.P.U. Liyanarachchi, Deputy Mayor Kegalle Lalith Jayashantha and AGM (Business Development and Marketing), HDFC D.V. Pathirana.

HDFC Bank first entered Kegalle 20 years ago as a building society, to provide financing for housing. However after receiving the status of a specialised bank, HDFC is now in a better position to offer attractive services such as savings and fixed deposit schemes in addition to providing financing for residential purposes.

The bank is also in the forefront of providing convenient banking in the form of palm top operation with the objective of capturing the community, which is not in the main banking system and at the same time assisting them to develop their savings habit. Today the bank is connected to the ATM net work of Sampath bank giving access to a net work of 228 ATMs. These facilities are beneficial to improve the savings of our country and at the same time vital for economic development.
