HDFC Bank wins Golden MACO Award

HDFC Bank was awarded the Golden MACO Award at the MACO Awards Ceremony organised by Mass Communicators Association of Sri Lanka, held at Grand Oriental Hotel recently. The award was received by Siromi Wickramasinghe, the Chairperson HDFC Bank.

This award was presented to HDFC Bank by Cashian Herath, Secretary to the Ministry of Religious and Cultural Affairs for the contribution the bank had made for the past 26 years, to the lower and middle income groups of the country, to obtain financing for housing purposes.   

According to the Chairperson this award is in recognition of the long standing service to the community to obtain financing for housing purposes and the award also gives encouragement to further develop our services to cater to the growing demand in housing and there by contribute towards fulfilling a national need.
