HDFC Bank, the premier housing finance bank, entered Nittambuwa town recently with the opening of its newest branch. This is the 34th branch of the bank.

The branch was ceremonially declared open by Chairperson SiromiWickramasinghe in the presence of HDFC Bank CEO/GM Nimal Mamaduwa, Chief Operations Officer S. Dissanayake, Chief Finance Officer D. Vidana Pathirana, Chief Manager (Business Development and Marketing) H.S. Gunathilake, Western Province Regional Manager Ramya Gunawardane, Nittambuwa Branch Manager U.S.B. Attanayake, members of the staff and other distinguished guests. Traders’ Association of Nittambuwa President Chandana Kumara and many other invitees, customers and well-wishers were present at this occasion.
The opening of this branch, located at No. 48/1, Kandy Rd, Nittambuwa, is in line with the bank’s objective to offer a wide portfolio of products and services to the people, in the area such as housing loans, education loans, personal loans, leasing facilities, savings accounts, children’s savings accounts with an exciting gift scheme, fixed deposits, SME and micro finance.
The HDFC Bank wishes to push into deeper geographies which is a part of the bank’s mandate to bring unbanked families into the banking fold through its mobile banking service. The team of this branch will provide personalised service based on the client’s unique need and fulfil their financial requirements with necessary guidance.
