HDFC relocates Horana branch

HDFC Bank has relocated its branch in Horana to a more convenient location recently. The branch, now located at 125, Panadura Road, Horana, is linked to all the other branches of HDFC Bank. The relocation ceremony was held with Nimal Mamaduwa, CEO/GM of HDFC, gracing the occasion as Chief Guest. HDFC Bank first entered Horana in 2009 with the intention to provide the people in Horana a comprehensive range of services in housing finance. While the spacious environment of the relocated branch ensures greater convenience to the customers, it will continue to offer housing financial services and a range of attractive savings and deposit schemes for small children, senior citizens and retirement plans for adults. This offers the people in and around Horana to have a wide range of products to choose from, for the betterment of their future. In addition, the branch has taken steps to reach the door-step of a large number of its customers of Horana area who reside outside the city, to facilitate their banking requirements via the palm top mobile banking service. This has also contributed in diverting the flow of a large number of customers who are engaged in several informal banking practices. HDFC Chief Operations Officer S. Dissanayake, Chief Financial Officer D.V. Pathirana, Chief Internal Auditor A.J. Athukorala, Chief Manager Business Development and Marketing H.S. Gunathilake, HDFC Western Province Regional Manager Ramya Gunawardena, Horana Branch Manager Theja Jayasinghe and a number of staff members and customers of HDFC were also present at the occasion.
