History in the making by Senaratne Insurance Brokers!

It was recently announced that Senaratne Insurance Brokers Ltd. has been recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute in London as ‘Corporate Chartered Insurance Brokers,’ a knowledge-based title reflecting on professionalism in the eyes of consumers, commentators as well as the regulator.  

Chartered titles are jealously guarded by professional bodies and are not awarded lightly as it enhances such broker’s reputation and market profile. It is believed that this title of Corporate Chartered Insurance Brokers, earned by Senaratne Insurance Brokers, which is the first in Sri Lanka and South Asia, is a public declaration by the firm that the advice given is of the highest quality, is based solely on the researched needs of the customer, and is provided by someone not exceeding his or her level of competency.

This company, which was established in 1979, can boast of a rich history, both in the realm of expertise as well as, high end achievements, powered by a star-studded professional team of four persons holding Chartered Insurance titles, with individual experience ranging from 25 years to as much as 64 years, aided by experienced/qualified support staff! Three such persons each had the honour of serving as the President of the Sri Lanka Insurance Institute, which is the local affiliate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a situation that is unique in the industry, both amongst underwriters as well as brokers in this country.
