HNB Assurance the first Insurer to tie up with FALCK Ambulance service in Sri Lanka

HNB Assurance being the innovative insurance provider in Sri Lanka is proud to tie up with Falck as their first insurance partner in Sri Lanka. Falck is the largest ambulance service provider in the world and the world’s largest private fire-fighting operator.

Falck operates in 35 countries around the world, and provides medical services to five million patients annually. Now in Sri Lanka, Falck’s professional out of hospital medical services are initially being offered within Colombo and the surrounding suburbs.

For both emergency and non-emergency out of hospital care, Falck’s 24-hour, three-language communications centre uses GPS technology to dispatch the closest professional European style ambulances in a flash.

Falck’s highly trained doctors and paramedics provide immediate emergency treatment and stabilisation for patients on the spot, before the patient is transported to the hospital of their choice.

HNB Assurance customers enrolled in a Falck membership plan will have access to all of Falck’s services by simply calling the 24-hour hotline: 1990. This not only includes professional emergency ambulance responses, but also comprehensive non-emergency services including home doctor visits, laboratory collection, ECGs, and annual health screenings. Falck also provides, in partnership with aviation companies, island wide air medical evacuation.
