HNB Gami Pubuduwa Avurudu Pola a resounding success

The Gami Pubuduwa Avurudu Pola, the trade fair organised annually by Hatton National Bank (HNB), opened up a large number of sales and market opportunities for over 380 microentrepreneurs when it was staged throughout Sri Lanka recently.

Boasting of over a 100 stalls, the trade fair was held in 10 regions from 4-10 April, showcasing products and services from a wide range of small and micro industries. The series of trade fairs was a massive success as over 40,000 people visited the stalls, resulting in a sales turnover exceeding Rs. 5 million. The regions and cities that were part of the HNB Gami Pubuduwa Avurudu Pola were Kandy, Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Jaffna, Minuwangoda, Dambulla, Panadura, Buttala, Matara and Nittambuwa, covering the Central, Eastern, Northern, North Western, North Central, South Western, Uva, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Greater Colombo regions.
