HNB General Insurance will take over the general insurance business of HNB Assurance Plc and will specialise in offering a variety of motor and non-motor insurance solutions to customers in Sri Lanka.
In addition, there will be numerous insurance solutions for businesses as well as Takaful products targeting specific segments of the market. As a new addition to the strong HNB Group, the company provides island-wide coverage throughout Sri Lanka with over 300 employees in 51 branches who will serve over 100,000 policyholders in partnership with Hatton National Bank, other banks and financial institutions, insurance brokers and a network of over 300 agents.
