Hatton National Bank (HNB) held the annual ‘Star Awards 2013’ at HNB Towers in grand style recently with 150 awards being presented to staff members in recognition of exceptional performance.
There were 38 team and 112 individual awards given away at the ceremony to staff of the customer centres who achieved individual targets, branch level targets. These included Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit awards which were presented to both individuals and customer centre teams.
The large number of awards on offer accurately reflected the contribution of all staff members towards the exceptional performance of the bank in 2013. The Chief Guest, Managing Director/CEO Jonathan Alles along with members of corporate management were on hand to give away the awards to the star performers.
HNB is the premier private sector commercial bank in Sri Lanka. It was recognised as the Bank of the Year in Sri Lanka for the years 2012 and 2013 by the Banker Magazine UK and has been named the Best Retail Bank in Sri Lanka by the Asian Banker Magazine for six consecutive years from 2008 to 2013.
