HNB Singithi Savings Day attracts children of all ages

50 Customer Centres of Hatton National Bank (HNB) around Sri Lanka were filled with excited children of all ages on Saturday 25 October as the bank celebrated ‘Singithi Savings Day’ with a mega program. The Singithi Savings Day program included a number of games and activities such as an art competition, face painting, musical chairs, magic shows, muppet shows and cartoon shows. All children enthusiastically took part in the activities and were seen enjoying themselves thoroughly throughout the program. HNB gave away valuable gifts and prizes to the winners of games and activities while every child who took part received a certificate of participation. 300 lucky children, who performed well in the art competition, will get an opportunity to go on a tour to the Air Force Museum. The month of October was declared the ‘Singithi Savings Month’ by HNB which was filled with a host of dazzling promotions and exciting rewards to children of all ages, and Singithi Savings Day was part of this month. The special month was in celebration of World Children’s Day 2014 which fell on 1 October and World Thrift Day which falls on 31 October and the main aim of the program was to inculcate the habit of saving in children.
