HNB unveils 2013 edition of its flagship savings scheme

HNB recently launched its benchmark rewards program ‘HNB Pathum Vimana’ for 2013. Featuring a whole new range of prizes including a Mercedes Benz, Suzuki Swifts, iPads and iPhones’ and a host of cash prizes including a monthly millionaire giveaways during February to November, the longest running rewards scheme in Sri Lanka also offers a luxury house worth Rs. 10 million or cash.

Elaborating on this year Pathum Vimana rewards scheme a spokesperson for HNB said: “This year our concentration is on revitalising Pathum Vimana, which completed 21 years in Sri Lanka, making it the rewards scheme that has given the most benefits to customers who save with HNB.”

“This year, the prizes on offer are very attractive and will appeal to a larger savings customer market in Sri Lanka.

“In terms of participation, all a customer has to do is to open an HNB savings account with a minimum of Rs. 10,000 to qualify for the draws,” he added.

All qualifying account-holders are entitled for multiple chances at the draws. The minimum deposit of Rs. 10,000 will guarantee them one chance, while they will be receiving another for every additional Rs. 10,000.

Apart from this, the period during which the amount has been maintained in the account will entitle the account-holders to multiple chances at the draws where they get one extra chance for every month.

In addition, existing HNB account holders with an account balance below the minimum requirement of Rs. 10,000 are encouraged to top-up their accounts, to be eligible for the draws, as there are ample chances to win with HNB Pathum Vimana 2013.

In terms of prizes on offer, HNB Pathum Vimana 2013 is offers a luxury house in the year end grand draw, nine Suzuki Swifts to be won in the three car draws to be held in April, July and October, 50 iPads and iPhones in monthly draws, one million rupees every month for seven months, as well as a total of Rs. 2.8 million in cash prizes in seven promotions during 2013.  

All these prizes are for a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000. Furthermore, a Mercedes Benz is also on offer at the year end premium draw for a minimum balance of Rs. 100,000.
