HSBC Global Markets recently held its bi- annual Power Break

HSBC Global Markets recently held its bi- annual Power Break for over 200 corporate customers in Colombo. The event was addressed by Dr. Koshy Mathai, Resident Representative of Sri Lanka and Maldives, International Monetary Fund, who spoke on Sri Lanka’s economy, recent policy changes and medium term prospects.



Dr. Mathai, commented that Sri Lanka’s economy was in strong position compared with many other economies in the world and expressed optimism on the countries growth prospects.

The HSBC Power Breakfast is one in a series of events organised by HSBC Global Markets to share views on the current/future global and local economic trends and its effect on Sri Lanka and the economy. The programme helps provide business entities guidance and insights on managing and mitigating risks and optimising opportunities.
