HSBC Group GM and Head of International Asia Pacific visits Sri Lanka

HSBC Asia Pacific Group General Manager and Head of Intern-ational Guy Harvey-Samuel arrived in the country on an official visit.  

Harvey-Samuel met with Government officials, key customers and senior management of HSBC, during his visit to the country.



He was also Chief Guest at the re-opening of HSBC’s newly refurbished Premier Centre, located at No 31, Sir Ernest De Silva Mawatha, Colombo 7.  

Commenting on the newly enhanced Premier Centre, Harvey-Samuel stated, “We are proud to have a history of 120 years in Sri Lanka with a network of 17 branches spread across the country to serve our customers.

Asian  region is to have strong, balanced and diversified geographies and businesses and we will continue to invest and grow in Asia as evidenced by our strong financial performance for 2011.”

He further stated, “The newly renovated branch, and our plans to completely renovate our Fort Head Office building in 2012, further reiterates our commitment to continued investment and growth in Sri Lanka for many more years and we are pleased to offer more convenience and services to our banking clientele here.”

The newly enhanced Premier Centre will cater to HSBC’s Premier personal banking clientele who will enjoy the highest standards of privacy and banking convenience in keeping with HSBC’s latest global standards.

Among the new improvements, is a larger reception area and more meeting rooms where HSBC’s team of knowledgeable and qualified relationship managers will assist HSBC Premier Customers with their banking and financial advisory needs, providing a truly personalised banking service.
