HSBC Head of International, Global Trade in Asia Pacific in town

Wei Wei Ng, Head of International for HSBC’s Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) in Asia Pacific arrived in the country on a two-day visit. She is responsibility for the GTRF business across nine markets in Asia Pacific, namely Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, New Zealand, Brunei, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines. Prior to this role, Wei Wei was the Country Head of GTRF in Malaysia where she played an important role in the development of the Malaysia GTRF franchise. She was a valuable member of the Malaysia Commercial Banking leadership team. Previously, Wei Wei was Regional Director for Commercial Banking in the northern region of Malaysia. She has also held several other positions in Malaysia including Senior Vice-President of Malaysian Multinational Corporates for Commercial Banking and Head of Product Management for Global Payments and Cash Management. HSBC Sri Lanka’s Global Trade and Receivable Finance business was recently awarded the ‘Best Trade Bank in Sri Lanka’ title at the Trade and Forfaiting Review (TRF) Excellence Awards 2014.
