HSBC launches first mobile platform for global credit card offers

HSBC re-introduced its global credit card privileges programme Home&Away via a mobile platform, allowing cardholders to access the new portal using their iPhone/ Android Phone as well as the internet when they travel, in order to view the available privileges offered exclusively for all HSBC credit cardholders.

With overseas travel becoming more frequent HSBC customers will find this to be a convenient tool that will enable them to find credit card privileges both at home and away.

Cardholders can access this new feature by logging onto www.homeandaway.hsbc.com via iPhone /Android phone or internet, to select from a wide range of exclusive privileges and super deals. Using their mobile device, HSBC credit cardholders can view all global privileges as well and search through them by country, card type, merchant category and name.  Cardholders are also able to identify privileges by location via the “Offers near me” feature and can view merchant offers through an online map. The popular ‘Hot Picks’ section lists the entire latest top offers available at any one time.

This convenient portal provides HSBC credit cardholders with over 4,000 exclusive offers from over 19,000 merchant outlets across 160 countries and territories. Across Asia Pacific, home&Away offers over 2,700 travel, dining, shopping, health and beauty deals across 38 markets.

The bank recently introduced a free online restaurant booking service to allow cardholders to make reservations prior to their overseas trip. These include; The Peninsula Group (The Peninsula) in Hong Kong, Coca Group of Restaurants in Malaysia, Amici Authentic Italian Restaurant in Singapore and The Square in Thailand.
