HSBC to reward cardholders every minute this season

As the clock begins to tick, counting down to the Avurudu celebrations, HSBC announced its biggest seasonal campaign, where all cardholders can shop big, save big and win every minute, creating another first of its kind in the history of credit cards.

The sensational promotion valid for up to 45 days beginning 15 March to 30 April 2011, will reward HSBC credit cardholders everyday from 10 a.m to 10 p.m with Rs. 500 for each minute they shop recording the highest transaction. The promotion which guarantees a winner every minute will reward 720 cardholders each day with a total of 32, 400 cardholders being rewarded at the end of 45 days.

Apart from this unique promotion, HSBC cardholders will also be able to enjoy offers across many categories such as daily essentials, wine and dine, travel and leisure, etc. making shopping exciting and rewarding this season. Cardholders can also shop at Arpico for Rs. 4000 or more and be entitled to ‘scratch and win’ cards that offer gifts on Arpico family products, ranging from daily essentials to household items from 1-30 April.  

In addition, HSBC’s “Fuel Rush” has been specially designed for the cost conscious customer to refund their fuel bills for up to Rs. 10,000 selecting 10 lucky winners daily, until 31 May 2011. Furthermore, with the bank’s 0% interest scheme for 60 months at Softlogic, Abans and Singer brought back, customers can purchase their favourite consumer durables at an unbelievably low price.    

Enabling them to enjoy the real spirit of the season, cardholders can also enjoy “Super Weekend” savings on 2 and 3 April at Vogue Jewellers with 35% savings on Jewellery,

20% at Mondy from 8 -10 April and a 40% discount with every purchase of L.I.C.C jeans from 1-30 April.

The ever popular, “Cardholder Dines Free” promotion will also be reintroduced this season at Galadari and Fortune Boat from 1-30 April 2011, with additional savings made at the bank’s merchant partner outlets, namely Hameedia, Odel, Adidas and many others.
