Catering to the diverse dining requirement of its valued customers, HSBC announced its latest dining promotion ‘Amazing Dines Free Relay,’ bringing together a variety of dining merchants to offer up to 50% savings. This unique privilege will be offered to all HSBC credit cardholders with effect from 6 June 2011 to enjoy a casual or fine dining experience with their family and friends.

The new dining proposition titled ‘Amazing Dines Free Relay’ stems from the bank’s most sought after ‘Cardholder Dines Free’ concept. It offers diners sensational savings with a choice of mouth-watering local and international cuisine at some of Colombo’s finest five-star hotels and restaurants, complimented by a fitting ambience.

Each week the promotion will feature a favourite hotel/restaurant that serves a signature cuisine. Cardholders can indulge their taste buds in their preferred cuisine, be it Chinese, Thai, Indian, Singaporean, Continental, Asian or Sri Lankan and enjoy an unbelievable saving of up to 50% on their bill.

This sensational dining privilege will be available at the following participating hotels/restaurants: Cinnamon Grand, Cinnamon Lakeside, Mount Lavinia Hotel, Ceylon Continental, Ramada Colombo, The Mango Tree, Jack Tree, Park Street Mews, Loon Tao, Royal Thai, Long Feng, The Dining Room, Chutney’s, Echo, Lagoon, Taprobane, Emerald, Governor’s Restaurant and Alhambra Moghul Restaurant.

Driven by the continuous focus on serving diverse customer needs, HSBC believes in constantly exploring new ways to enhance customer experiences and make a positive difference to the lifestyle aspirations of its loyal credit cardholders.

Head of Cards and Consumer Assets at HSBC Nadeesha Senaratne, commenting on the latest dining offering, said: “The ‘Cardholder Dines Free’ that was populated throughout the country at a number of hotels and restaurants was an extremely popular promotion amongst our dining customers and this provided a welcome boost to the hospitality industry in 2008.

With the intention of offering a similar experience, HSBC’s ‘Amazing Dines Free Relay’ is sure to get credit cardholders excited, as it offers them unique and diverse privileges to complement their lifestyles.”

HSBC credit cards available in the categories of Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Advance Visa Platinum and Premier MasterCard, come with the assurance of belonging to one of the leading banking and financial services organisations in the world.

Coupled with priceless benefits and rewards, the HSBC credit card is globally accepted at 19 million merchant locations in over 160 countries.
