Japan the top prize in Ceylinco Life’s ‘Family Savari 7’ mega promotion

The land of the rising sun will add luminance to the ‘Family Savari’ promotion of Ceylinco Life, following the life insurance leader’s decision to offer five policyholder families’ all-expenses-paid holidays in Japan next year, as part of the 2014 edition of this annual extravaganza.
Launching ‘Family Savari 7’ the company announced that this grand prize for 20 people will be in addition to a holiday in China for 40 people representing 10 policyholder families, a tour of Singapore for 200 people from 50 policyholder families and a day’s outing at Leisure World for another 2,000 people from 500 policyholder families. In all, 2,260 people representing 565 policyholders and their families will be winners under this edition of the Family Savari program, taking the total number of beneficiaries to more than 15,000, the company said.
“Family Savari continues to be the single largest, most exciting and most interactive promotion in Sri Lanka’s insurance industry,” said Ceylinco Life Managing Director and CEO R. Renganathan. “Paris was our top destination this year, and we believe Japan will be as aspirational and attractive as the grand prize for 2014. Our objective is to give Ceylinco Life policyholders and their families experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.”
The promotion period for Family Savari 7 runs from September to December 2013, during which all active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders as well as holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Accounts (CRAs) can earn multiple winning chances that increase with the age of their policies.
Existing or new policyholders who pay a monthly premium of Rs. 20,000 and above and have paid a minimum of three premiums by 31 December 2013, or those who have a balance of Rs. 1.5 million in their CRA with a Life Plan by that date, will be eligible to win a holiday in Japan, the company said. To be eligible to win a holiday to China, a policyholder should have a monthly premium of Rs. 10,000 or a CRA and Life Plan with a balance of Rs. 1 million.
Existing policyholders and new policyholders who purchase life insurance before 31 December 2013 with a minimum monthly premium of Rs. 3,500 and pay three premiums and CRA accountholders with a minimum balance of Rs. 750,000 will have a chance to participate in the Singapore tour, while policyholders who pay a monthly premium of Rs. 1,000 or CRA account holders with a minimum balance of Rs. 250,000 will be eligible to win visits to Leisure World. Emphasising the value of loyalty, policyholders will receive one additional winning chance for every year they have been with Ceylinco Life, up to a maximum of 10 winning chances for those who have been active policyholders for a decade or more.
Additionally, policyholders who have paid a minimum of three premiums using direct payment methods (such as bank standing orders) will receive an additional winning chance.
A winning family would include the policyholder, his or her spouse and two children. An unmarried policyholder may nominate his or her parents. Ceylinco Life will conduct two draws, a mid-campaign draw in November 2013 and a grand draw in January 2014 to select winners.
