Kalinga Indatissa, Lakshman Rupasinghe on CIFL Board

The Board of Central Investments and Finance Ltd. (CIFL) has appointed Kalinga Indatissa and Lakshman Rupasinghe as Independent Non-Executive Directors from 27 January 2011.

A member of the Bar since 1986, Indatissa was also a Director of the Employees Trust Fund, Lecturer at Sri Lanka Law College and Visiting Lecturer at Sri Lanka Hotel School and Sri Lanka Police Higher Training Institute.

He was also a Trustee of the Young Zoologist Association Scholarship Fund, Secretary of the Mahabodi Society of Sri Lanka and is currently a Member of the Interim Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket and Director of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC and the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute. Indatissa has been an active member of the Sri Lanka legal society for many years.

Rupasinghe is the Sole Proprietor of KAL Rupasinghe & Co. (Chartered Accountants). He is also Partner of Risk Management & Control Services (RMCS) (Chartered Accountants), Managing Director of KALRUPCO Management services (Pvt) Ltd., and Non Executive Director of Dev Marine (Private) Ltd. He is also the Management Consultant for several companies in various industries.
