Kanagasabai joins Union Bank Board

Union Bank of Colombo Plc has announced the appointment of Yudhishtran Kanagasabai as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board.

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and possesses over 35 years of experience in accounting and auditing. He has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers throughout his career and completed his term as a Territory Senior Partner on 30 June 2016. He will continue to provide his services to PwC until his retirement on 31 March 2017.

With the latest appointment the Board of Union Bank Plc comprises P.J. Nayak (Chairman), A.I. Lovell (Deputy Chairman), I. Wickramasinghe (CEO/Executive Director), B.A.K. de Silva, S.L. Chiew, S. Ghouse, G. Trehan, R. Dewan, O. Hanlon, P. Bhatia, A. Aluvihare, Y. Kanagasabai, W.Y. Sun (alternate to S.L. Chiew), Priyantha Fernando and S. Jog (Alternate to O. Hanlon).
