Kanrich Finance joins SLIPS as a Direct Participant

Kanrich Finance joins the Sri Lanka Interbank Payment system, a fund transfer system for the handling of interbank payments in Sri Lanka set up by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in association with Sri Lanka Bankers Association.
It provides a customer of any commercial bank and any other participatory institution, the facility to transfer funds through direct debits or credits to or from the accounts of customers of any other commercial bank or participant institution.
Sampath Bank agrees to provide intermediary service to Kanrich Finance to participate in Sri Lanka Interbank Payment System.
Kanrich Finance Chairman S.H. Piyasiri stated: “KFL has entered this day into an agreement with Samapth Bank, a leading innovative banking solutions provider of the country to offer our customers from today itself the privilege of same day funds transfer with any Sri Lankan bank.”
With the new arrangement, the Kanrich Finance will be able to offer efficient fund transfer facility to large number of micro finance customers of the company scattered all over the island to obtain their loan disbursements in a timely manner.
Managing Director Aravinda Perera and Group Company Secretary Sathananthan Sudarshan were the signatories to this agreement on behalf of Sampath Bank. Chairman S.H. Piyasiri and CEO Shiran Weerasinghe were the signatories on behalf of the Kanrich Finance Ltd.
