Lankan-born Britisher Ramanan appointed to National Lanka Finance Board

Victor R. Ramanan has been appointed as a Non Executive Director to the Board of Nation Lanka Finance Plc with effect from 5 October.

Ramanan is a Sri Lankan born British national aged 46 years and resides in the UK.

He is a B.Sc Graduate and holds a Diploma in sofware engineering, business administration and sales techniques (UK) and counts over 20 years experience in the field of management, sales and marketing.

He is employed at Raith Engineering and Manufacturing Co WLL (Kuwait) since February 1992 and presently is the Head of Logistics at Raith Engineering. He is also a Director in subsidiary companies of Raith – Raith Cts Logistics – Sales and Marketing, Jetstream Europe UK, Jetstream Hochdruck, Germany and RCS Contracting Managing Director.

Following the latest appointment, the Board of Directors of Nation Lanka Finance Plc comprises of Jayantha Dharmadasa (Chairman), W.B.B.C.J. Fernando, H.C. de Z. Sahabandu, U.H. Palihakkara, Asanga Seneviratne, J. Rudra, U.H. Dharmadasa, P.M.L.K. Karunaratne, K.M.S. Kandegedara and V.R. Ramanan.
