Mercantile Investments and Finance expands branch network

Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC, the friendly specialist in finance, announces the inauguration of five new branches across the island since January 2017. The targeted regions include Thambuttegama, Veyangoda, Gampola, Wattala and Avissawella.

The rapid growth and development of its island wide branch network are part of the company’s drive to continuously provide exceptional service to its customers in terms of convenience and accessibility.

The company’s recently published half year financial results showed Mercantile Investment’s commendable business stability in terms of recording over 15% growth in its lending book, which paved the way to record a robust Rs. 514 million and Rs. 363 million pre-tax and post-tax profit as at 31 December 2016.
