Mercantile Investments and Finance opens purpose-built Premier Centre

In keeping to Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC’s (MI) growth plans, a fully equipped modern Premier Centre was declared opened on 7 December 2013 located in an ideal setting in Cotta Road, No. 219, Dr. N.M. Perera Mawatha, Colombo 08. The Premier Centre will operate as a service centre equipped to cater to a wide array of corporate clientele and becomes the 21st business location for MI’s expanding network of branches and service centres.

At the inauguration, Managing Director Gerard Ondaatjie highlighted the importance of having a Premier Centre established in a prime location, fully geared to meet widening financial needs of customers. He said: “The Premier Centre is ready to cater to customer needs even after normal working hours and will be of assistance even extending up to late evenings during the week. We have a high calibre service team operating at this location to provide a superlative speedier service. We hope to process credits in a very short span of time, to maintain desired servicestandards, thus fortifying MI’s dominance over service excellence. The Premier Centre is also equipped with a separate training centre housed on the third floor which will facilitate in-house training of staff, in an ideal training environment.” Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC is a Licensed Finance Company under the Finance Business Act No. 42 of 2011, listed on the Diri Savi Board of the Colombo Stock Exchange. The company boasts an expansive network of branches across the island and will be celebrating its golden jubilee in 2014.
