Mervyn Silva opens Pan Asia Bank’s Kiribathgoda branch

Pan Asia Bank further expanded its branch network on 11 August 2011 with the opening of its 54th branch at No. 67, Makola Road, Kiribathgoda. The new branch was declared open by the Chief Guest Minister of Public Relations and Public Affairs Dr. Mervyn Silva and Guests of Honour Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Prasanna Ranaweera and Pan Asia Bank Chairman A.G. Weerasinghe.

The opening ceremony was graced by Pan Asia Bank Director/Chief Executive Officer Claude Peiris, customers in the area and other distinguished guests and well-wishers.

Pan Asia Bank has already opened 12 branches within the year, and continues its vigorous expansion drive with a view of achieving 25 new branches in 2011 and 100 branches by the end of 2012.

It takes pride in its customer centric focus and will be offering a highly personalised service, competitive deposit and loan rates and an array of novel banking products including Champion Saver account with a very attractive interest of 8% for a savings account, three types of minor savings accounts, gold loans with the highest advance amount up to Rs. 45,000 per sovereign, and leasing at the lowest market rate down to 1%.

Pan Asia Bank’s Kiribathgoda branch is headed by Panduka Kumararatne. The branch

will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
