MMBL Money Transfer holds agents awards

MMBL Money Transfer (Pvt) Ltd., Principal Agents for Western Union Money Transfer services in Sri Lanka, held its Annual Agent Awards Ceremony 2012 at the Diamond Room, Aitken Spence Towers in Colombo on Saturday 24 November 2012.

The event was organised to recognise the top performing agents in the MMBL Money Master network spread across the island. It was attended by over 300 agents and other invitees.

The Chief Guest at the occasion was Patricia Z. Riingen, the Senior Vice President for Western Union, East and South Asia. Milinda Moragoda, Founder of Pathfinder Foundation and Senior Advisor to the President was the Guest of Honour.

The Chairman and Board of Directors of the company and the Senior Country Manager for Western Union in Sri Lanka and his team were also present at this occasion.

A total of 50 awards were presented to agents in various categories. ‘The Outstanding Agent of the Year’ award was handed over by Chief Guest Patricia Riingen to B. Chanthirakumar of Goby Agency – Vavuniya.
