National Asset Management Ltd. (NAMAL) expands its presence to the north of the country with the opening of its first branch in Jaffna recently. The new branch is located at No. 147-2/3, KKS Road, Jaffna and was ceremonially opened by NAMAL Head of Retail Sales Tharaka Mudalige. Residents of Jaffna can now take advantage of the opportunity to meet NAMAL investment advisors and invest in the flagship National Equity Fund.
NAMAL is Sri Lanka’s first unit trust management company, having commenced operations in 1991, with a 22-year track record of successfully investing in the Sri Lankan equity and debt markets with assets under management exceeding Rs. 12 Billion.
NAMAL currently operates eight unit trusts including the flagship National Equity Fund and the only listed unit trust.
The principal shareholders of NAMAL are Union Bank of Colombo PLC and DFCC Bank PLC.
