The ceremonial opening of NSB’s Kekanadura Branch was held recently and this branch will offer its clients the bank’s full range of products and services.
The branch opening was graced by Dullas Alahapperuma , Cabinet Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development as the Chief Guest, with the presence of Sunil S. Sirisena, Chairman NSB , Sumanadasa Abegunawardana, Working Director of NSB, H.M. Hennayake Bandara – GM/CEO of NSB, Dhammika Perera – Senior DGM, Anula Jayasinghe – DGM (Branch Management), P. Wattuhewa and J.M. Senevirathne (Zonal Managers), along with the senior management of the bank, Branch Manager Sumith Nanayakkara, invitees and customers.
NSB, which offers a wide range of banking products and services, is the premier savings bank in Sri Lanka. The branch was opened at No. 06, Yatiyana Rd, Kekanadura, Matara.
“National Savings Bank has a history of 40 years. The bank’s actual capital is the trust and confidence of its customers. NSB has been contributing in the social and economic development by supporting the education, health and infrastructure of the country,” said Alahapperuma, in his speech.
NSB Chairman Sirisena, NSB Working Director Sumanadasa Abegunawardana and NSB GM/CEO H.M. Hennayake Bandara also addressed the gathering.
The first day deposits of the newly opened branch were accepted by the Chief Guest and other invitees. Hasitha Rathnasinghe had the privilege of being the first customer of this new branch.
