The grand opening of the new NSB branch at Ragala, situated at new spacious premises was held recently. This new branch will offer the customers, full range of products and services including the latest technological facilities.
The branch opening was officially graced by C.B. Rathnayake, the Deputy Secretary of SLFP and MP for the Nuwara Eliya District and Minister of Private Transport Services with the Chairman of Walapane Pradeshiya Sabha Jagath Kumara Samarahewa.
NSB Chairperson W.A. Nalani, Working Director Deshabandu Sumanadasa Abeygunawardana, GM/CEO H.M. Hennayake Bandara, DGM Branch Operations and Marketing Jagath Gamanayake, Regional Manager J.M. Senevirathne along with the senior management of the bank and customers were also present at the occasion.
NSB, which is offering a wide range of banking products and services, is the premier savings bank in Sri Lanka. Also, NSB is the only bank in the country which offers a 100% government guarantee for savings as well as interest earned.
The new Ragala branch is located at No. 58, Bazaar Street, Ragala. The first day deposits of the newly opened branch were accepted by the chief guest Minister C.B. Rathnayake and the other special invitees.
The Ragala Branch is the 230th branch of the National Savings Bank.
