Nations Leasing, the leasing arm of Nations Trust Bank PLC (NTB), recently launched a new advertising campaign across various media.
This campaign has been developed primarily with the intention of repositioning Nations Leasing as a financier of commercial vehicles and equipment. The secondary purpose of this campaign is to emphasise its geographic presence outside the Western Province.
NTB Head of Leasing Priyantha Wijesekera said, “We have in the past been very successful with our strategy of focusing on financing personal vehicles to a large extent; the quality of our portfolio is a testament to this. However, we feel that the biggest growth opportunity lies in the regions. To this end, we want to position ourselves as a bank that would finance a tractor or combine harvester for a farmer, a lorry for a person engaged in transport or mini truck to a trader. Basically we want to be a business enabler working closely with the SME sector by being a catalyst in spurring the growth of our economy.”
NTB Leasing Chief Manager Sheahan Daniel commented on the various products on offer where customer could choose from either a lease of hire purchase which would be tailored to suit the cash flow of the customer. Daniel further elaborated on the latest product that was launched, the Nations Green Lease, targeted at the hybrid vehicle customer and added that it is technology such as this that would propel the motor industry in the future.
Nations Leasing offers leasing and hire purchase facilities that could be obtained at all the Bank’s branches located out of Colombo and at selected branches in Colombo or at the Nations Leasing Centre at Namwam Mawatha. Alternatively, customers could call the leasing call centre to have a Relationship Manager visit their home or office at a time convenient to them.
