Nations Trust Bank takes 365 Day Banking to Akkaraipattu

Nations Trust Bank, a key player in the financial services industry, reiterated their commitment towards expansion with the opening of the 57th branch in Akkaraipattu which will be the 4th branch operational in the east.

In line with the bank’s strategy of expanding customer touch points to enhance accessibility and convenience, Nations Trust Bank will offer the residents of Akkaraipattu 365 days banking, coupled with extended banking hours and customer service that is unmatched.

Akkaripattu has always been a hub for trade and commerce from ancient times, which is evident by the settlements of old trading communities. Today the town’s economy thrives on agriculture and farming, making it an important landmark in the Eastern Province.

The new branch was declared open by NTB’s Director/Chief Executive Officer Renuka Fernando and the opening ceremony was graced by customers in the area, distinguished invitees as well as the corporate and senior management of the bank.

Located at 210, Main Street, Akkaraipattu, the new branch is based on the banks proprietary design concept that offers their signature services of 365 day banking with extended hours, the ultimate in convenience, a modern and comfortable banking hall and exceptional service provided by professionally  trained staff.  

Nations Trust Bank has also embarked on offering services such as remittances and pawning across their branch network. The bank has tied up with several remittance partners worldwide to offer seamless transactions to customers to facilitate remittances from across the globe. Pawning services are also now being offered with access to this service 365 days of the year with extended banking hours.

These include segmented products such as the private banking and inner circle membership, the platinum and gold membership that offers business customers privileges which translate to a special set of benefits including a lucrative rewards scheme.
