NDB Chief Operating Officer (Services) Chrishanthi Jayawardena was conferred the ‘The Woman Super Achiever Award 2012’ by the CMO Asia Council in recognition of her unique achievements, leadership and professionalism. Nearly 200 corporate leaders and decision makers were present at the prestigious award ceremony held on Thursday, 19 July in Singapore.
The CMO Asia is an international organisation dedicated to high level knowledge exchange through leadership and networking amongst senior CMOs and decision makers across industries. Representing 25 countries across Asia, the CMO Asia Awards recognises Organisations and Professionals for their exceptional performance in leadership combined with consistent, unique achievements. The ‘Woman Super Achiever Award’ is given to outstanding women with the vision, flair, acumen and professionalism to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills in an organisation.
Jayawardena is an Attorney-at-Law and counts many years of experience at NDB. Prior to joining NDB, Jayawardena was employed at FJ&G De Saram, Attorneys-at Law. Jayawardena currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer – Services at NDB, where she overlooks the legal, human resources and general affairs of the bank.
