New Business Development Head at Alliance Finance

Ali Ahlam Nawaz joined Alliance Finance Co Plc on 5 September 2012 in the capacity of Group Head of Business Development.

He was formerly from NDB bank. He has a proven track record in business and marketing management, spanning over 16 years in three different industries, namely banking and financial services, energy sectors (gas and electricity) and retailing. He also has accumulated much experience in diverse markets such as the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Sri Lanka.

Nawaz is a qualified professional in the discipline of business management and has played a significant role in different capacities at a corporate level, both locally and overseas

He was recognised and awarded the Best District Manager in the United Kingdom for the year 2005, during his tenure at Southern Electric Company in the United Kingdom.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Buckinghamshire, UK and a BBA in Business Management (UK). He is a member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. Alliance Finance Company (AFC) was incorporated in 1956 and counts 56 years of steady performance and growth. It has an enviable record of confidence and trust with a distinctive brand image in the registered finance company sector.
