Swarnamahal Financial Services Plc yesterday announced the appointment of W.M.D. Sanjaya Fernando as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment with effect from 15 November is following the resignation of S.M. Ganegoda as CEO though he will remain on the Board of Swarnamahal Financial Services as a Non Executive Director.
Fernando counts for nine years experience in the field of banking of which five years in UK banking sector.
He holds a MBA from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the London School of Commerce, London and a Diploma in Information Technology from the Australian College for Business and Technology.
