New Chairman, Deputy in CFLB investment firms

A. Rajaratnam has been appointed as the Chairman of Colombo Investment Trust Plc and its subsidiary Colombo Fort Investments Plc. This follows R. Senathi Rajah relinquishing his position as Chairman of both companies with effect from 12 August. He however continues to serve on the Board.

Colombo Investment Trust owns 36% in Colombo Fort Investments Plc. S.D.R. Arudpragasam has also been appointed as a Director and Deputy Chairman of both companies.

He is also the Deputy Chairman of Lankem Ceylon Plc and Managing Director of E.B. Creasy in addition to serving on the Boards of several other companies in the Colombo Fort Land and Building Group. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
