Newest People’s Bank branch declared open

At Magam Ruhunupura Mahinda Rajapaksa Port premises

People’s Bank’s newest branch located in the Sayurupaya administrative building at the Magam Ruhunupura Mahinda Rajapaksa Port was declared opened by Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa and vested with the public recently. Grants were distributed by Namal Rajapaksa to several small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs), following the opening of the state-of-the-art branch equipped with all modern banking facilities. People’s Bank Chairman Gamini Sedera Senerath, Member of the Board of Directors Piyadasa Kudabalage, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Operations) Boniface Silva, Assistant General Manager (Southern Zone) K.D.J. Perera, Hambantota Regional Manager R.M. Ariyasaena, Matara Regional Manager J.A. Amarasiri, Assistant Regional Manager H. Gunapala, Assistant Regional Manager M.P. Thilaka, Hambantota Branch Manager Wasundara Rohini, Service Centre Manager R. Dayanpadma and other bank staff members, people’s representatives, public officers, and a large number of customers were also present at the event.
