Nihal suggests reporting format for monitoring finance companies

At the recent well attended public interest seminar on ‘Repetitive Debacles of Finance Companies’, in the context of erosion of public confidence, with the collapse and speculated potential collapse of several finance companies, to develop public confidence, with proper disclosure of information, and to protect public depositors, professional consultant and public interest activist, Nihal Sri Ameresekere suggested at the seminar, the following ‘format’ of information to be regularly monitored in respect of each finance company.
