A new branch of NSB’s network was ceremonially opened recently, at No. 84 A, Negombo Road, Giriulla.
Whilst the Petroleum Industries Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, graced the occasion as the chief guest at the branch opening, NSB Chairperson W.A. Nalani, Working Director Deshabandu Sumanadasa Abeygunawardana, NSB Director Hema Madiwela, GM / CEO H.M. Hennayake Bandara, Deputy General Manager Anula Jayasinghe, Regional Manager J. M. Seneviratne and the upper management of the bank also attended the event together among other invitees.
This spacious NSB branch equipped with modern facilities including an ATM is geared to deliver a superior customer service to all its customers in and around Giriulla.
At the opening ceremony, initial customer cash deposits were received by the invited guests and the first deposit was traditionally handed over to the Petroleum Industries Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa.
National Savings Bank, the one and only bank of the nation with 100% Government guarantee is in the process of expanding its branch network further and this new Giriulla Branch is the 228th branch of the bank.
