NTB launches digital banking with Mobile Banking Apps, revamped user interface

Nations Trust Bank has announced the launch of Nations Digital Banking to add to an already diverse and unique array of banking solutions offered.

In what has become the hallmark of Nations Trust Bank, the key focus is to further strengthen its commitment to delivering leading edge banking solutions that ensure customers receive the highest standards of service quality.

Nations Digital Banking is the result of focused investment and research towards a better digital experience for its customers, bringing a completely revamped and simplified user interface to all its digital platforms including ATM, internet banking, SMS banking and a brand new state-of-the-art mobile banking technology that guarantees ease and convenience.

Speaking on the launch of Nations Digital Banking, NTB CEO Director Renuka Fernando said: “At Nations Trust Bank we believe in simplifying the lifestyles of our clientele and for that our starting point has always been a deeper understanding of the customer and his/her lifestyle requirements. Specifically with regard to the launch of Nations Mobile Banking Keshini Jayawardena, DGM Retail and SME Banking, explained: “With the advent of the smart phone, we also understand that this tool will become a prime tool of convenience for our customers, going far beyond use simply as a phone. With its main focus on delivering a solution that will enable customers to do their banking conveniently and securely, the Nations Mobile Banking application for smart phones allows customers the functional benefits of paying utility bills, checking or paying American Express credit card bills, accessing mini statements and checking their current/savings account balance on their mobile phones, thus creating the convenience of carrying out a considerable portion of their day to day banking necessities on the go. This will not only enhance the lifestyles of customers but also free them from the restriction of set-time banking. The Nations Mobile Banking solution will be made available to users of Nokia, iPhone, Android and Blackberry smart phones.”

A diverse range of options are available on the Mobile Banking platform, she explained, “In order to make the platform truly ground breaking, we have designed it to carry out far more than just day-to-day banking requirements. With Nations Mobile Banking, customers can also make third party fund transfers and even access leasing and loan balances with ease via the mobile banking apps, while remaining assured that – as with all out products and services – the high standards of security and confidentiality is met. State-of-the-art security measures have also been included in the design of these Apps in order to ensure that our customers’ data and financial security is protected across all linked platforms.”
