NTB takes 365-day banking to Embilipitiya, Balangoda

Nations Trust Bank (NTB), a key player in the financial services industry reiterated their commitment towards expansion with the opening of two branches in Embilipitiya and Balangoda concurrently. The bank has successfully opened three branches, including Deniyaya in the month of May. All these branches have been designed based on the banks proprietary design concept, and offers the signature services of 365 day banking with extended hours the ultimate in convenience.

Situated at No. 70, New Town Road Embilipitiya and No. 86/A, Barns Ratwatte Mawatha Balangoda, these branches will offer customers exceptional service which will be provided by well trained, efficient and friendly staffers. A ‘Nations business centre’ was also opened at the Embilipitiya branch which takes the total number to eight business centres in operation to date. The purpose of these Centres are to be a one-stop-shop for business customers providing business advisory services to improve their business based on the IFC-SME Tool Kit.

The SME Tool Kit is an online training resource and is managed locally by Dialog Axiata that contains a range of useful financial management tools, business management solutions for business customers to access at any given time. This SME Tool Kit is also available in English, Sinhala and Tamil languages making it accessible to customers in all geographies. Customers can access the SME Toolkit s at the Nations business centres with the assistance of the bank’s staff 365 days of the year.

NTB has grown in strength and stability, closing the financial quarter ending 31 March 2013, with a post-tax profit of Rs. 502 million, a growth of 15% over the corresponding period 2012. Driven by innovation and customer convenience the bank offers segmented product offerings to the individual as well as business customers.

Amongst them are the private banking, inner circle and the business banking proposition that also offers the business clientele a lucrative rewards scheme. There are many special features attached to the product, such as the joining fee, the first year annual fee and membership rewards enrolment fee waivers on the American Express Credit Card, joining fee and first two year annual fee waivers on the Nations Global Cash Card (ATM), 1% below the market rate reduction on the personal loans interest rate, pre-approved limits on Nations Leasing and overdraft facilities with processing fee waivers.
