HSBC’s recent e-statement campaign that attempted to covert as many existing customers from using paper credit card statements to e-statements has resulted positively with over 17,000 customers joining the campaign. Converting to e-statements is a simple three step process that can be done at anytime by logging onto www.hsbc.lk or contacting HSBC’s Customer Service Centre on 4 4722 00. Customers can enjoy the service free of charge with instant access to view their credit card transactions at the click of a button, more conveniently. Through the service, customers can be assured of receiving their credit card statements (without loss or delay), more timely and be updated on their credit card dues and payment dates. More importantly, they can play a part in the bank’s endeavour to reduce paper consumption thereby contributing positively to the environment. Customers who were among the first 1,000 to register for e-statements were also rewarded with USB drives and Airtel dongles and were eligible for a grand draw. Among them were three lucky winners: Harshana Upendra, Nimmika Hettiarachchi and A.K.B. Lasantha, who were the recipients of the latest galaxy tabs and ipad mini. HSBC customers can take part in the campaign and will be rewarded with free Airtel dongles until 30 November 2013.
