P.P.J Perera appointed Executive Director of Sri Lanka Insurance

P.P.J. Perera, a veteran insurance professional counting over 30 years experience in the industry, has been appointed Executive Director of the new Board of Sri Lanka Insurance.

Perera is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia He has well over 30 years experience serving in a senior managerial capacity at the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd. and Sanasa Insurance Company Ltd. In his career at Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd, he has served in the position of Deputy General Manager/Finance, Deputy General Manager/ Support Services and Senior Deputy General Manager (Investment), while in service he has held directorships at the Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Corporation, Agricultural Insurance Board and Ceybank Asset Management Ltd. Perera has also functioned as the Head of Finance, Human Recourses and Administration at Sanasa Insurance Company Ltd. and as the Chief Executive Officer of Sanasa General Insurance Co. Ltd. He has wide and diversified experience in the fields of finance, investment and Insurance in Sri Lanka.
