Pan Asia opens second branch in Kandy

Pan Asia Bank further expanded its branch network yesterday, with the opening of its 44th branch in Kandy, at No. 5, Kandy City Centre. Pan Asia Bank, which has already established its presence in Kandy with its primary Kandy Branch in Kotugodella Veediya, possesses a loyal and growing clientele in Kandy.

The inauguration of the new branch was marked by Chief Guest Tikiri Kobbakaduwa, Governor of the Central Province and the Guest of Honour at the occasion was Raja Pushpakumara, Mayor of the Kandy Municipal Council. The Kandy City Centre branch will be headed by Chathurika Marabe.

Listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange and in operation for 15 years, it offers a full range of retail and business banking products and services.

Pan Asia Bank with an upgraded rating of “BBB” by Fitch Ratings Lanka has embarked upon an ambitious growth plan to better serve the diverse communities of Sri Lanka by extending its branch network to rapidly growing areas across the country.

Pan Asia Bank takes pride in its customer centric focus and will be offering a highly personalized service, competitive deposit and loan rates and an array of novel banking products including three types of minor savings accounts, Pawning with the highest advance amount up to Rs. 41,000 per sovereign, and leasing at the lowest market rate down to 1%.

The branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
