People’s Bank branches island-wide to celebrate Avurudu with Ganu Denu on 15 April

People’s Bank has been the pioneering State Bank since 1973 and has continued its cherished tradition of celebrating the Sinhala and Tami New Year festivities with the traditional Ganu Denu with its customers. The bank’s entire network of branches will open on 15 April from 8:30 a.m. onwards for Ganu Denu transactions.
On that day, deposits will be accepted from new and existing customers. Customers who deposit Rs. 5,000 and above will receive a valuable wall clock courtesy of People’s Bank.
All customers and the general public who visit People Bank branches and service centres to participate in the traditional Ganu Denu and to make deposits will receive a token gift. They will also be invited to partake of a meal of Avurudu sweetmeats and kiribath.
People’s Bank warmly invites all its customers and well-wishers to visit their branches and join in the Avurudu spirit.
