People’s Bank celebrates Avurudu

The People’s Bank Sinhala/Tamil New Year celebration was held recently at the Bambalapitiya Police Grounds with the participation of all the employees and their families.

The fun filled event offered exciting games, singing and dancing activities for the young and old as well as colourful dance and musical shows by famous superstars.  

The event was inaugurated by chief guest, International Monetary Cooperation senior minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Labour Relations and Productivity Improvement MP Gamini Lokuge and Army Commander Jagath Jayasuriya.

People’s Bank Chairman Gamini Senarath, People’s Bank CEO/GM N. Vasantha Kumar, members of the director board, all the employees of the organisation and their families took part in the event. Winners of the various events were awarded by the guests of honour and the director board.
