‘People’s Bank Foreign Remittance Gold Fortune 2016’ rewards 23 to date

People’s Bank Foreign Remittance Gold Fortune 2016’ promotion recently saw the completion of its 23rd draw, announcing I. Washila of People’s Bank Ridigama Branch as the winner of the week. 

The draw was launched in June with the aim of promoting the use of People’s Instant Remit, People’s e-Remittance, Swift and Telex amongst those living and working abroad when sending money to their loved ones in Sri Lanka.

Present at the draw was People’s Bank Assistant General Manager (Human Resources – Administration) P.R.S. Jayathissa and People’s Bank – Assistant General Manager(OCS) Anoma Mudduwa.

The promotion encourages people to make remittances of any amount to be eligible to receive a gold sovereign coin on a weekly basis for a period of 28 weeks up to December.
